Surviving 10 Days Without Dad
For the last 10 days I caught just a glimpse of what life is like for single mothers as my husband went out of town to take the last class for his doctoral program. I am such a proud wife, but I knew a week and a half with our four girls and none of his help would be interesting to say the least. Here we are, 10 days later. It wasn't easy, but I survived!
A house is now a home
As most of you know now, my husband and I <strong><em>bought a house! Moving is all too familiar for us. And if you've moved, you know the agony it can bring. The changing of addresses for everything, packing all your belongings...hoping and praying nothing breaks on the way, living on only essentials for a period of time, figuring out leases or the buying and selling a home, finding people to load and unload the truck, anything else I'm missing??? This was our 8th move in 6 years of marriage! You could call us pros.
Moving with children
We just finished moving from California to Colorado as my husband took on an awesome new job. Can I just mention that I am beyond happy that we no longer have to pay California housing prices?
