Minor Changes, Maximum Benefit

Being healthy as the years go on in adult is a lot of work, especially with children. Trying to get in a healthy meal is more effort than eating your kids leftover mac n cheese or chicken nuggets. Trying to get in a healthy workout routine is more effort than just burning a few calories running after your children at the playground.

It’s so much easier to get into a routine that isn’t necessarily the best for our bodies. As easy as it is though, there are some changes that are both easy to add, yet super beneficial to your overall health. Let’s dive in!

Frozen Lemonade Protein Smoothie

Okay, so I found this frozen lemonade smoothie and I am now obsessed. It’s great for a quick breakfast or lunch or even just a treat! it’s super simple, one scoop of 1st Phorm’s Vanilla Ice Cream Protein Powder, a cup of ice, and some lemonade. Fresh if you’re feeling fancy, but in the name of easiness, just find some pre made. Blend it all up and you’re good to go!

The Vanilla Ice Cream Protein Powder is so yummy! It also leaves no bitter aftertaste or any of those unwanted clumps.

If you’re wanting to add an extra punch, add 1st Phorm’s French Vanilla Collagen. Why not add a great boost of health for your hair, skin, and nails. Did you know that our bodies naturally produce collagen, but as our bodies age, we slowly produce less and that is why we don’t look as youthful? Well, here’s a boost to help keep you looking your best! As a hairstylist, collagen is proven to help your hair health!

If I am making this as a treat, I use a half scoop of protein (because you don’t need that much at nighttime), and I add a small scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Either way I make this, my girls always wanna steal some of mine. It’s that good!

Greens and Reds

If you haven’t read my last post on all healthy things for kids, go check it out. In there I talk about 1st Phorms opti-greens and opti-reds. My kids don’t even know I put it in almost all of their food, and they get so many added health benefits.

They are so great and super easy for us adults too! Add a scoop of greens and a scoop of reds to my favorite smoothie. It’s 1 cup of frozen berries, 1/2 cup almond milk (or other milk of choice), 1tbsp of almond butter, and 1 banana. These added reds and greens are like a huge added health benefit, without all the fuss.

Add a scoop of greens and a scoop of reds to taco meat, spaghetti sauce, any of. your favorite meals or simply add them to water. It’s so easy to throw into anything!

Opti-Greens and Opti-Reds are all 100% non GMO, contain no synthetic ingredients, no artificial anything, just ingredients that make the gut healthier, healthy blood flow, level pH, and help with your immune system.

Parenting With Ease

I am not the mom who has it all together. I have five kids and our life is full of chaos, laughter, fighting, and love. If you’re a mom just trying her best to make better and healthier choices with food, try these out with me!

xoxo,

Jillian
