Embracing Healthier Choices As A Busy Mom

As a mom of five girls, my life is quite a bit chaotic. Making healthy choices all day everyday isn’t always easy either. What is easy is grabbing the last few chicken nuggets from our kids plates and whatever else they haven’t finished. Ultimately though, I know I need to be as healthy as I can for my kids. I need to be there as long as I can and at my best shape so I can do all the things they wanna do together.

I decided to challenge myself to 6 weeks of healthier living with 1st Phorm as my aid, and as I am in the middle of that, I’ll get back to you on how that ends up, and what exactly I am doing. For now, let me tell you all of the things I am eating and loving. Foods that make life easier for me to get and stay healthier.

Protein Nut Butter

Currently, I am eating the brownie batter flavor of this delicious protein nut butter from 1st Phorm, but all of the flavors taste so good! It’s perfect for a snack when I need something quick. I’ll have a spoon all on it’s own, or pair it with a piece of fruit. Usually a banana or apple. Sometimes I want to have it for more than a snack and add it to one of my smoothies.

This stuff is so good, but even better for you. For just 2 tbsp, it comes with 10g of protein. It’s packed with with almonds, 1st Phorm’s best protein isolate, and chia seeds.

Protein Bars

These protein bars from 1st Phorm taste like candy so much so that my kids are constantly begging me to have them. I am currently eating the chocolate chip cookie dough and salted caramel. The taste may be superior, but the quality is just as much.

As a mom who is constantly going and going, I sometimes don’t have time to get a full meal together, so it’s nice to have these options. I feel so much better to know I can grab one of these and a fruit or vegetable and run out of the house. Honestly, sometimes I forget to eat lunch and as I am running out to take them somewhere my body reminds me with hunger pains.

These bars are packed with 20g of protein and top quality ingredients.

Protein Meat Sticks

I’ll be honest, I have never really been a fan until I tried these meat sticks from 1st Phorm. They are healthy, but the taste is just so good! I am currently eating breast sausage and original smokehouse, but I think I could eat them all.

These are great again for on the go and packed with 20g of protein. I love pairing these with a fruit or veggie.

Healthier Choices

No matter what you choose from 1st Phorm, there are really no bad choices that I have found yet. These are some of my favorites, because they are so delicious and healthy for my journey being a healthier me. When we are healthier moms, we have the ability to love on our babies as long as possible in this world.
